Come in for an in-depth conversation and functional blood chemistry analysis. Reference ranges on your annual checkup are one thing, but Dr. Patel strives that those levels are optimal. Looking at blood is a window to your health, and it’s a great snapshot on being preventive. Not only does he test advanced markers that most doctors do not, he spends the time to review them in detail. Get your wellness panel today!
Food is medicine, heard that before? Its because its true. One diet does not fit all, however. It’s important to find what works for you, and how certain foods can be creating or worsening your symptoms. We live in a world where there are so many extreme diet claims that it can become quite the confusing realm. Allow Dr. Patel to use his testing and expertise to guide you on your path to healing.
One of the most useful, but at the same time, misunderstood and highly abused areas on the market today. Unlike pharmaceuticals, supplements are not regulated; thus creating a madhouse of false claims and sub-par quality. Fortunately, Dr. Patel does his homework. Only professional, physician regulated brands are recommended from his online stores.
What will my first session be like?
A typical initial consult with me lasts about 60 minutes. In this visit, a full medical history and initial plan will be discussed. That being said, every plan is unique and tailored to the patient.
What background / training do you have?
Dr. Patel is a licensed Naturopathic doctor with a strong background in pharmaceutical sciences. I went to pharmacy school in my undergraduate studies, which allowed for a solid foundation in conventional medicine. I also attended 1 of the 7 accredited ND programs in North America at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences. Although I rarely use conventional methods, I am well trained in medical diagnosis and treatment. I love being part of the new face of healthcare. I consider myself an expert in the use of nutrition, functional lab testing and interpretation, botanical medicine and professional supplementation.
Do you accept insurance?
One of my most popular questions. Although some lab testing may be covered, it is unlikely to be fully covered under most insurance plans. Considered to be outside standard of care, I try my best to keep healthcare affordable. HSA accounts may be used however.
Do you work with patients who live outside of Georgia?
I want to help as many people as I can, especially with the knowledge that I possess. I offer HIPPA-compliant health coaching over a telemedicine platform, and look forward to helping people locally, nationally and internationally!
Is this program right for everyone?
Not entirely. Obviously I do not do surgery or treat acute emergencies, but I can however provide answers for complex diagnoses, chronic care and general wellness. To see if you are a good candidate, I recommend a free 15-minute consultation to briefly discuss your goals and history. I consider everyone I work with as a team member, and look forward in aiding in your journey to better health!
